AGELESS















What if it were possible to stay biologically young as we grow chronologically older? What if we didn't need to search for the fountain of youth because it already existed within our minds? What if the whole concept of aging was just a program of limiting beliefs that needed to be "deactivated" and replaced with new ones? Is this sounding like a trailer for the latest sci-fi movie yet?
Actually, this is our reality. I spoke with Jami Derro of Soul Aligning and she explained just how we can live this reality. Jami is an incredible teacher and healer who I have worked with over the past year and a half. While taking one of her classes last summer, she happened to mention some of her metaphysical anti-aging tips and they immediately resonated. I've always believed this and Jami is living proof with total baby skin at the age of 49. I wanted to know more and asked Jami if she could share her tips with EAT YOUR BEAUTY.
Jami, can you give a brief description about what you do?
I do multi-dimensional energy work in which I access various levels of consciousness. I use this energy and consciousness to guide my clients and teach my students. I assist people in re-connecting to their own metaphysical abilities so that they may also use these higher dimensional energies for healing and guidance.
During my private sessions, I connect with the higher aspects or soul consciousness of the client and also with their spiritual guides to retrieve information about their gifts, abilities, soul lineage, other lifetimes and highest path and purpose in this current lifetime. I share with them any ways that they may be getting in their own way and keeping themselves from enjoying a life of well-being, prosperity and happiness.
In Your Spiritual Alchemy class, you touched upon some metaphysical anti-aging techniques you apply to your daily routine. Can you share some of those tips?
Yes, but first there must be the basic understanding that at the subatomic level, all matter, and everything in existence, is energy. Once we really grasp that concept, we can start to learn how our thoughts and beliefs (also energy) have an impact on our physical world, including our physical bodies.
Our true and natural physical state is of wellness, optimum health, longevity and vitality. Disease is a “distortion" of that natural state of well-being. All distortions come from belief patterns that we hold that limit this natural flow of well-being. 
Even the idea that we must age as we get older and all of the physical deterioration that comes with aging, is really just a belief that we take for granted. We have been programmed, in a way, to believe that the natural course of things is that we get older, we get wrinkles, we lose our hair, we lose our flexibility, we get sick, and then we die. 
But that does not have to be our experience. It is entirely possible that we can get chronologically older while maintaining a much younger biological age. It is possible that we can live a very long life feeling great and enjoying vitality well into what would be considered old age.
So, how do we do that?  We have to use the power of our minds to change the core belief that we must age in a certain way. We must “de-activate” that programmed belief and replace it with a new one. The mind is a powerful tool and we use that power through intention and visualization.
These are the techniques I use:
1) Understanding that the sub-conscious mind is pivotal in executing what my conscious mind tells it, I say a mantra every day that aligns with the new belief I wish to program rather than the “life sucks, you get old, and then you die” program.   
So, I say “My biological age is 25” (half my chronological age). “I feel energetic, fantastic, and youthful.” Sometimes I add in additional adjectives. When I am saying this in my mind, I am also imagining myself looking and feeling fantastic and youthful. The key is to hold that state of mind as long as possible and re-visit that vision often.
2) I imagine my DNA and in my mind, I see several light switches. I imagine that one of the light switches is the “aging” switch and in my mind I turn it off.  Then I imagine a switch that is for youth and vitality and I turn that one on. 
These switches should stay put unless we go back to the old beliefs and programs. I visualize them from time to time to make sure they are in the right position.
3)  Meditation and breath work: Taking some time each day to quiet the mind and just focus on taking deep breaths is beneficial in every way. When our minds are always busy, most of the time we are thinking thoughts that align more with limiting beliefs. When we quiet the mind we tap into that true source of well being…that natural state of energetic harmony and balance.
What about people who have already experienced aging? Can they use these same techniques to reverse it?
Yes, aging can be reversed. I look younger now than I did 15+ years ago. It is all the power of the mind. Spending time consistently envisioning yourself looking and feeling young and really immersing yourself in the feeling of it is key. Our bodies react to what we focus on with vividness and emotion. Studies have shown that when athletes imagine themselves performing physical actions, their bodies and minds respond the same way physiologically as if they actually performed the physical action.
Using biofeedback, I was able to raise and lower my body temperature by simply imagining myself feeling hot or cold. There are many scientific studies that show the power our minds have to alter our physicality. It's no different for aging and reverse aging.
Would you say that working on our bodies from a vibrational level is much more powerful than focusing on the physical level?
Since everything is energy at its core, we have to look at every physical condition as having an energetic root cause.  We have an energetic system (chakra system) that corresponds with our physical body system. 
As I mentioned earlier, the natural state is for our energetic system to allow well being, harmony and balance to flow through.  When we hold limiting beliefs we literally limit this energy of well-being. We then develop an energetic disturbance, or distortion, at a certain location in our energetic/electromagnetic field.  If this distortion is not identified and cleared, eventually it will cause a physical disturbance.
It can be easier to heal something while it is still in energetic form versus once it has begun to affect us physically. It is possible for any bodily condition to be completely healed with only the power of the mind, however it requires that the person be very much in control of their own thoughts and beliefs. 
You can get any physical treatment and it won’t work, or the results will be temporary if the dominant belief or energetic distortion still remains active. Conversely, you could take a placebo, and if your dominant belief is that you are healed, you will have healing.
The healing of the energetic system must come first.
Collagen supplementation has become very popular. Are collagen powders and bone broths actually effective at replacing lost collagen? 
Any and all treatments, supplements, etc will be effective or not effective depending on the person’s belief system. This is why medical studies cannot agree on what is healthy or not healthy. The individual must develop the ability to really “tune in” to what their body will benefit from based on their unique energetic and physical systems.
I suggest using a pendulum or muscle testing to determine which dietary or supplementation will benefit you. You can use these tools to ask your body directly. 
It is also important to be aware that each cell in your body has consciousness and each cell is part of the whole that is you. Your cells will respond to your focus. For example, the best way to cause yourself a physical ailment is to focus on your body with disgust, hate, or judgment. The best way to begin to heal the body is to focus on it with love and appreciation.
Is there any anti-aging advice your spirit guides have for us as far as foods and supplements and/or practices that we can incorporate into our daily lives?  
This is specific to each individual but the one thing that the guides say consistently is that we all need to drink more water.  Also, they often recommend that we focus on detoxing the body. They typically will suggest using lymphatic massage and Ayurvedic remedies for detox. I make a detox tea that is comprised of fennel seed, cumin seed and coriander seed.

I AM a beauteous being of love and light.
I radiate God's love and light to everyone around me.
I am filled with the life force energy that God is.
My energy field emits divine energy and magnetism.
I transmit love by osmosis, and people are drawn to me.
My energy field is glowing, attractive and charismatic.
I AM magnetic, fascinating, compelling and captivating.
Love is all around me, and I attract love.
I AM a love magnet. I AM filled with love. I AM loved.
